AMBOSS Testing Infrastructure

As a consultant at AMBOSS, I improved the testing infrastructure and continuous integration used by an engineering organization of more than 70 people.

The project had roughly 280 Cypress end-to-end tests. Runs took over 18 minutes and recurring flaky tests made failures harder to interpret.

I introduced parallelism, adjusted resource allocation and moved suitable coverage to faster integration tests. The Cypress suite fell to around 6–7 minutes and overall continuous integration became roughly 40–50% faster.

I also introduced Cypress Dashboard to give the team visibility into failures and flaky tests over time.
